Welcome to the Academy

Pershore Martial Arts and Kickboxing Academy was formed in 1997 by Stuart Marler. Since that time it has gone from strength to strength and now accommodates over 250 members. The club is sited at the heart of Pershore in Priest Lane, only a stones throw from Pershore Abbey, and enjoys much support from the local community.

The Academy is still run by Stuart who has over 23 years experience in the sport and is both an accomplished fighter and all round trainer. Stuart currently holds a forth dan black belt in kick boxing and has won many championship belts in his career including Amateur British Champion.

To compliment this success the youth squad and the seniors continue to impress, winning both titles and trophies for the club.

The ethos of the academy is simple, all are welcome who wish to participate in, and learn, the arts. Whether you tried it and like it or wish to sweat pounds in training for the big fight, all are welcome. There is also the fitness aspect and of course the self defense which plays an important role in some classes.
